Attorney Jeff Schwalbach secured a $362,500.00 settlement in a dog bite case where defendants denied their dogs attacked or bit our client. Defendants initially attempted to blame our client’s age and shoes for his sustained injuries. Our client sustained bite wounds to his hands and legs which required medical treatment. Additionally, our 72-year-old client became scared of dogs for the first time in his life – making it difficult to take care of his own two dogs.
We obtained the settlement a few weeks after Mr. Schwalbach completed the depositions of two defendants. He established during their depositions that their credibility was nonexistent and would ultimately work against their insurance carrier at trial.
